As humans we are prone to guilt. Guilt is so powerful, that it can make a sane person go insane. Always remember the phrase "Past is Past". We cannot change anything which has already happened. So there's no use in trying to rethink and replay scenarios in your mind.
This is not as easy as possible, after all we are human beings. We tend to think of the bitter incidents and worry. So try to forget and forgive.
It works wonder. Gives you that inner peace, people talk about. Forget the bitterness and forgive yourself and keep moving forward.
Life and time keeps running.
Much better option just forget the unhappiness and try to remember only the beautiful Memories.
